About Your Painting
Your one of a kind keepsake is 100% hand painted on high quality gallery wrapped canvas (no need for framing) using professional acrylic paint and various mediums. All of my pieces have a protective varnish finish to preserve the vibrant colors for years to come.
Your painting will be carefully wrapped and professionally packed in special boxes specifically for shipping art. Sizes 30x30 and larger will ship as a rolled canvas for ease of shipping and lower shipping cost. For these larger sizes, you will need to take the canvas painting to get it stretched onto a wood frame. Prices usually start at around $50 for that service at your local framing shop.

A 50% deposit through Venmo or Paypal at Brittsy Art Studio is required to start the process.
You will email me a minimum of 5 clear pictures. Clear eyes are very important (*see Photo Tips)
I’ll email/text you a sketch of the pose for your approval.
We can communicate via email, phone and/or text to discuss any special requests.
When your little darling is almost finished, we’ll set up a Facetime call to view your painting with an opportunity for you to request color changes and minor adjustments before the final varnish is applied.
Some people prefer less communication and just want to be surprised, that’s more than OK too!
The remaining balance is due prior to shipping.
Shipping and delivery charges will be explained and discussed on an individual basis.

How to pay
I will respond to you via email once you have submitted your contact form.
To get started you will make a payment of 50% of the total cost of the painting including estimated shipping fees through Venmo or Pay Pal.
Tips for great photos
Shoot outside in late afternoon. Remember to have the sun/light at your back.
If inside, natural filtered light near a window is usually a good bet.
Position yourself at eye level of your pet and talk to them in their favorite words.
Have a treat or toy ready so they will look right at you with eyes wide open.
Be sure to take several poses close up AND full body shots in many angels.
Their eyes and their expression are the most important elements I need to see to capture their true personality.
Short videos are great also since you can edit and crop them to get the perfect shot.
If you already have photos I may be able to work with those.
If you live in my area, I am available to do the photoshoot!
